3575 Mendocino Ave.

Burbank Housing, working in partnership with Related California, is master planning the prior Journey’s End Mobile Home Park devastated by the 2017 wildfires. The redevelopment plan will transform the site into a high-density, transit-oriented village focused around a central park and located within 1⁄2 mile of high-quality transit, commercial retail and medical services. The Project site will be redeveloped with up to 532 units and will offer both market rate and affordable units. Burbank/Related will develop 162 senior affordable units on approximately 2.5 acres and a market rate developer will construct up to 370 market rate units on approximately 9.00 acres.

The affordable units will provide housing for lower income seniors, age 62+, with an annual income between approximately 30-60% of the area median income. Qualifying prior Journey’s End Mobile Home Park residents displaced by the 2017 wildfires will be offered first priority for the affordable units.
