Burbank Housing is excited to announce the new construction of Petaluma River Place, a multi-family affordable apartment community.
Project Overview
- Number of Units: 50 permanent supportive housing units
- Navigation Center: In addition to housing, a navigation center will be established to provide essential services to residents and community members experiencing homelessness.
- Target Residents: Households earning no more than 30% of the area median income for Sonoma County. For a one-person household, this equates to an annual income of $29,050 or less.
Timeline
- Construction Completion: Expected by Spring 2025
- Occupancy: Anticipated in April 2025
Amenities
Petaluma River Place will include a community room, bicycle room, laundry room, interior trash room, staff and resident services offices, community garden, children’s playground, EV charging facility, solar panels, outdoor gathering area and access to adjacent bike trail along the Petaluma River.
Supportive Services
Burbank Housing Resident Services will provide instructor-led classes and other services.

Funding and Partnerships
This project is made possible through a collaboration of federal, state, and local funding sources, including Project Homekey, a state initiative aimed at expanding housing for individuals experiencing homelessness.
