Kim August brings her fiscal acumen, strong analytical skills, and 30-plus years of community banking experience to Burbank Housing as its Chief Financial Officer. She served the last ten years as Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at Summit State Bank, an award-winning community bank serving North Bay Area small businesses, nonprofits, and the community. Ms. August’s also served on Burbank’s Board of Directors for nine years, serving as its Treasurer for five years, giving her a unique perspective on Burbank’s finances and strategy. Prior to her role at Summit State Bank, Ms. August’s decades-long career in the banking and financial sector included being Vice President with Bank of Marin, Exchange Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank. Ms. August holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a MBA from California State University, Sacramento.
