Each Burbank Housing property has its own management office with its own waitlist. If you would like to rent an apartment at one of our communities you must complete our pre-application which you may download from www.burbankhousing.org or you may pick one up from our main office.

Pre-applications do not have a fee and may be faxed, mailed, emailed or dropped off at the relevant property. Contact information is listed on the pre-application. Applications are not accepted at the main office and we do not maintain any waitlists at the main office.

Properties accept pre-applications as the first step onto a waiting list. Pre-applications can be filled-out and copied, and then dropped off, or mailed to Attention: Resident Manager at selected properties.

Please note that getting on the waitlist and/or sending in an application does not guarantee you an apartment. All applicants are subject to our tenant selection process and are not guaranteed an apartment until they are offered a lease for signature.

All of our affordable properties have specific income and household size requirements. To qualify, your household must be income-eligible, typically at 60% or less of the Sonoma County median income. Income limits will also vary by number of household members and specific government programs. These requirements vary from property to property and are subject to change. We also have some properties that are exclusively for seniors and/or disabled families. All applicants are screened according to our tenant selection criteria, which is included in the application packet. All of our residents must pass credit checks, criminal background screening, and be prepared to live in a community that has high standards for its quality of life. Since each property has specific requirements, it is best to contact the property you are interested in for more information.

At this time Burbank Housing does not provide emergency or transitional housing.

Burbank Housing does provide handicap accessible apartments. You may contact the individual properties you are interested in for more information about accessibility options.

Each Burbank Housing community has a pet policy. Please contact the property you are interested in directly for more information. With documentation, assistance animals are allowed at all Burbank Housing properties.

Burbank Housing accepts all applications for housing. Each application is evaluated on a case by case basis.

Burbank Housing Property Management Company manages the majority of Burbank Housing apartments. Virtually all of our properties have resident managers as well as dedicated maintenance and administrative staff who are on call for emergencies and are vigilant about upholding our standards. We are proud of the quality of our properties, and we know that our committed, engaged property managers and residents are key to maintaining our high standards throughout our properties.
